Anneloes Wolters

Anneloes Wolters (1973) is een Nederlandse componiste uit Delft. Zij schrijft verhalen in muziek. Anneloes gebruikt verhalende en wiskundige structuren om klankkleuren te mengen tot een compositie. Zij combineert muziek componeren met andere kunstvormen, zoals illustratie en textiel.

Anneloes organiseert haar werkproces zoals wetenschappers hun onderzoek organiseren. Zo kan zij altijd nieuwsgierig blijven en op onderzoek uit te gaan naar nieuwe muzikale (on)mogelijkheden. Anneloes denkt dat we verhalen in muziek nodig hebben om onze levenservaringen met elkaar te kunnen delen, en streeft ernaar dat haar muziek voor iedereen herkenbaar uitdrukt wat het is om mens te zijn.

Anneloes Wolters (1973) is a Dutch composer, living in Delft. She writes story in music. Anneloes uses story telling structures, mathematical sequences and sound-color-mixes to set up a composition. She combines music with other art-forms, like illustration and textile art.

Anneloes organizes her work-process like scientists organize their research, this helps her stay curious and search for new (im)possible musical options. Her goal is to create music that makes us feel all those things that makes us human.
